Enrollment / Classroom / Location Information:

Child must be age 3 or 4 years of age by September 1, 2017. No age waivers accepted.
Students qualify according to State of Michigan guidelines.  This is a FREE program for those who qualify.
Tuition spots will be considered only if unable to fill free spots by September.
Transportation provided for most districts.
Special needs children are encouraged to apply.

Enrollment Process:
Initial registration will take place via the online interest form. This is a free program for those who qualify.    
Basic qualifications are:
   
   Low family income
   Diagnosed disability or developmental delay
   Severe or challenging behavior

   Primary home language other than English
   Parent(s) with low educational attainment
   Abuse/neglect of child
   Environmental risk
 
This Program Offers:
Preparation of young learners for success in school.
A variety of social and learning activities.
Curriculum-based experiences (HighScope).
Parent participation.

Great Start Readiness Program Children:
Benefit from a wide variety of learning experiences so that they are ready for success when they begin kindergarten.
Have opportunities to enhance their social skills through play and learning activities with children their own age.
Experience literacy with appropriate pre-reading curriculum.
Experiment with numbers and beginning math concepts.
Develop both small and large muscle skills through daily physical activities.
Are monitored quarterly on their academic progress.
Receive monthly home learning packets and free books.
