A vital part of the Early College Program is peer-to-peer relationships and supporting the passion students feel about the importance of the program. Over the past two weeks, the Allegan Tech Center and Early College welcomed 10th graders as they explored their course options for their Junior year and beyond. Early College students had the opportunity to share their experiences as Lake Michigan College students while still in high school. They shared the benefits of the program including the support the program offers, getting to meet new people from other districts, doing fun activities as a cohort, getting an extra year to decide what they want to major in at college, the instructors, and that the workload is not hard it is just a lot of work.

Current sophomores interested in Early College are strongly encouraged to attend an information meeting Dec. 13th or Jan. 11th: 6:30pm-7:30pm at the Allegan Tech Center.

Virtual options are also Dec. 13th, or Jan. 11th:  5:00pm-6:00pm. Email evy.houser@alleganaesa.org for the zoom link. Applications are due in February and interviews will be scheduled in March.
