Plainwell Community Schools educator David Clark was selected as the Otsego-Plainwell Area Chamber of Commerce Educator of the Year. In November he was presented with the award by Jeremy Wright, Plainwell High School Principal, and Matthew Montange, PCS Superintendent, at an award ceremony at the Chamber of Commerce, where Mr. Montange shared some highlights of Mr. Clark’s impressive career.

Mr. Clark has been a teacher at Plainwell Community Schools since 1997, where he has taught Social Studies at Plainwell High School. Throughout his time at PCS, he has been an outstanding and dynamic teacher, teaching 9-12th grade students U.S. History, AP U.S. History, Government, AP Government and Politics, United States Civil War, World History, Online Learning Mentor and Driver Education. 

"If you know Mr. Clark or if you've had the opportunity to have him as a teacher, then you know that there is not a better representative of Plainwell Schools, as he sets an example daily of hard work, dedication and unending passion for education," Said Mr. Montange. "Mr. Clark epitomizes the best we have to offer at PCS and we are so thankful for his dedication to our students, staff and our district. Congratulations to David Clark on this well-deserved award."
