Glenn Public School, considered the oldest continuous rural school in Michigan, is proud to announce its 170th anniversary celebration. Since its establishment in 1854, Glenn Public School has been a cornerstone of the local community, providing generations of students with a quality education and fostering a strong sense of pride and tradition.

As the school commemorates this significant milestone, students, alumni, faculty, staff, and community members are invited to join in a series of special events and activities honoring the rich history and enduring legacy of Glenn Public School.

 

Throughout its illustrious history, Glenn Public School has remained dedicated to providing an

exceptional educational experience for its students. From its humble beginnings in a one-room schoolhouse to its current status as a modern educational institution, the school has upheld its commitment to academic excellence, innovation, and community engagement.

The 170th anniversary celebration on Sunday, May 26th from 12-3 pm will be a testament to the enduring impact of Glenn Public School on the lives of countless individuals and the community as a whole. Highlights of the celebration will include:
