What a great week leading up to Spring Break offering spots to the Early College Allegan County program! Traveling around the county to deliver acceptance letters and celebrate these students was a blast!

We welcome high school students interested in dual enrollment through Lake Michigan College to attend our virtual meeting tonight. We call this our Allegan Advantage because classes are located at the Allegan Tech Center, transportation to the Tech Center can be utilized, and districts pay for the courses. Come check us out!

October Fall Fun at Early College!

We are excited to offer all eligible sophomores the opportunity to start their college journey next year as Juniors. Together with our college partner, Lake Michigan College, students will complete their high school diploma and an associate degree 1 year beyond high school. 85% of our students choose to go on to pursue their bachelor's degree. This is a way to accelerate your pathway at no cost to you. Because Allegan County does not have an in-district community college, students who attend community college after high school will pay the difference between the in-district and out-of-district costs. Attend one of your information nights to learn more!

Last week we welcomed each cohort back for meetings and book pick up. The Class of 2025 was treated to Resume Workshop with Career Development Coordinator Beth Johnston.
We look forward to welcoming back our LMC instructors and students tomorrow!

Our Class of 2025 business students had a wonderful opportunity to job shadow their LMC Marketing Instructor, Lynn Touri. In addition to being adjunct faculty at LMC, she is the Director of Marketing for the Whitecaps! They had full access to the broadcasting booth, to the dugout, to the field, and gained an understanding of the time and energy goes into "gameday". Thank you for a great experience for the students, sharing your passion and expertise for marketing, and being a selfless leader. #westmichiganwhitecaps
